The UN Beast
by Nathan Tabor

With the recent Democratic takeover of both houses of Congress and the imminent expiration of John Bolton's tenure as America's United Nations ambassador in January, the United States now faces a period of unprecedented capitulation to "The Beast on the East River."

When Bolton steps down, America stands to lose an unflinching advocate of American interests and American sovereignty. A Senate that is now hostile to conservatives and friendly to international bureaucrats is unlikely to confirm a worthy successor to Bolton or defend our liberties against UN encroachment. The country cannot wait two year--the time for patriotic Americans to act is now.

The United Nations' 50-year history has been marked by corruption, duplicity, and a desire to increase its influence and prestige at the expense of its own member states. While proclaiming its concern for the environment, human rights, and conflict resolution between states, it has steadily worked towards acquiring the power to make decisions on issues traditionally reserved to nations.

This erosion of national sovereignty in regard to the beast at Turtle Bay is about to increase.
