Hitler's Pope?
By Joseph A. Morris
Sir Martin Gilbert, the celebrated British, Jewish historian and official biographer of Winston Churchill, has published a compelling review of Rabbi David Dalin's book, The Myth of Hitler's Pope, in the current (July-August 2006) issue of the American Spectator (where I was once, long, long ago, the managing editor).
Kathy and I both read Rabbi Dalin's book when it first appeared last year, and commend it highly. We have also read Gilbert's next-to-most recent book, Churchill in America, and commend it as well. I commend the American Spectator, too, but that may be a little close to home to be seemly.
