Wolves in Sheep Clothing
by Kerry Marsala
The
empty-headed types who have bought into socialism have funded
the leading capitalists the world over. These capitalists are opportunists
disguised as caring liberals, rich entertainers who mouth socialist pieties
to fill their bank vaults. The majority of starlit, stricken followers
fatten the wallets of their idols and never stop once
to question their sincerity.
Wasn't
it Martin Sheen (West Wing fame) who slept on a manhole cover one
night to help the homeless people? How did one night of sleeping
on a manhole cover help a homeless person? Didn't Alec Baldwin and
Cher state that if President Bush won the election of 2000 they
would move out of the United States? Last I checked, Alec is still
trying to get his big break in film in the United States and Cher
is on another endless tour of the same 50 states.
Seems
to me those country singing Dixie Chicks bemoaned sharing their
birth state with George W. Bush. How much has the state of Texas
contributed to the funding of the Chicks music sales? Linda Ronstadt
says she doesn't want to know if Republicans or fundamental
Christians are in her audience because it, "clouds her enjoyment"?
I grew up in the same town as Ronstadt, and evidently as a conservative
and a Christian I bought too many of her albums. I didn't realize
while I was supporting her dreams of living rich, that I was also
"clouding her enjoyment" of her riches.
Jane
Fonda, Susan Sarandon, Gore Vidal, Oliver Stone and many others
have signed a public "Statement of Conscience" drafted
by "Not in Our Name", which promised "to resist the
injustices done by our government" and pledged their "alliance
with those who have come under attack." Ms. Fonda, you and
John Kerry should go back to having sit-ins, no more money for either
of you. Ms. Sarandon, you're a beautiful courageous woman, but shut
up and just act; you're so talented. Vidal, you've made your millions
writing about sexual perversions and disdain for conservative ideals,
on top of the millions of dollars that were yours from inheritance.
Your twisted look of America should have you permanently living
in France.
Stone,
you are a film artist extraordinaire, but a crackpot conspiracist
who hates America. Stone is quoted at the HBO Film
Panel, on "Making Movies That Matter," that
huge corporations who make mediocre movies are part of what made
Osama bin Laden plan the Sept. 11 attack. "They control culture,"
he said of the corporations, in comments quoted in the New Yorker.
"They control ideas. And I think the revolt of Sept. 11th was
about 'F-- you! F-- your order.' "
Michael
Moore makes far-left documentaries blasting American industry. In
the never-never land he inhabits, Bush was responsible for 9/11.
Moore doesn't really make documentaries, he is much like Stone,
a crackpot conspiracy theory genus, laughing his way to eating all
the Big Macs his body can handle. Think about it, we the star-struck
public who pay for Moore's books and films may be sued at a later
date for contributing to Moore's heart disease. Sean Penn spent
$56,000 for a full-page ad in The Washington Post to warn President
Bush against a "legacy of shame and horror." Again Penn
you're an outstanding actor, you've got a great family, but what
do you know about foreign policy?
The
darling diva, Barbra Streisand, in her Democratic fundraising concert
in Hollywood, slammed the president for "the arrogance of wanting
unlimited power." Streisand, your voice is to die for; to put
it in succinctly: "it's like butter." My dear Ms. Funny
Girl, your disdain for conservatism makes "What's up Doc?"
a question we'd all like an answer -- why the hate? Least guilty
on this list, but certainly not last in the long line of perpetrators
is Elton John. Elton attacked what he refers to as a McCarthy-like
"era of censorship" in America after Ronstadt was given
the old heave-ho out the door for espousing her political views
in Vegas during a SINGING concert. Elton John has sold
untold millions of CD's, Albums, fan club paraphernalia and such
like. He does not understand censorship. If one side has the right
to be strident in their views and hold captive an audience that
has paid money to hear them sing, then those who have the opposite
opinion have as much right to clearly state their objections.
There
is a proper time and place for political voice. It's not when I
pay my money to hear someone sing or entertain. If I the consumer
am under the assumption that you the entertainer are performing,
then please render services due and save your political rhetoric
for a night with Whoopi Goldberg and John Kerry.
The
left worldwide represents some of the biggest capitalists ever to
walk this planet. They push their social agenda of racial, economic,
and social divisiveness, but line their pockets with the greenbacks
we so eagerly hand over to them. By definition, these entertainers
are capiltalists and have major financial interest
in their own self-seeking enterprises, called themselves. These
are entertainers who claim to identify with the common man, but
they are all persons of great wealth. There is nothing wrong with
capitalism or wealth, but when they claim to oppose the very system
that gives them popular standing, that is hypocrisy.
It's
time we stop lining the pockets of the liberals who dress-up as
innocent lambs and expose them for what they really are: opportunist
and socialist wolves who want the masses to bow down to their every
wish -- and to keep the money coming.
