I agreed with the Marsala article but feel that he left out one
giant fact about the children who grew up to be such liberals. When
the U.S. Supreme Court removed the Bible and prayers from our schools,
they also removed the basis for our morality also. So, if there
is no God as the Supremes wanted our children to believe, then there
is no foundation for integrity and common standards either.

In regard to the Pipes article, you have probably seen it, but an
e-mail I received recently told of an interview by a Christian minister
with a Muslim cleric. The upshot of the discussion was a sheepish
admission by the Muslim that, indeed, the Koran states that Muslims
have a responsibility for killing all "infidels", and
further, that "infidels" refer to all non-Muslim believers.
I certainly agree that this response about the arrest of an American
Muslim with the described background was entirely warranted.

I was upset, as an American and Republican, to read about how the
United
States "bowed to broad opposition on the Security Counsil and
announced it
was dropping its effort to gain immunity for its troops from prosecution
by the
International Criminal Court..." in the NY Times. I haven't
heard much response in the media on this, not even conservative
talk radio other than Mike Savage even though this was a front page
story.

As we gather with friends and family this Summer, let us not forget
those soldiers, sailors, aviators, and marines who have come before
us and surely will stand as guardians of democracy long after we
are gone. Please pray for our leaders both soldier and civilian.
Pray that God grant them wisdom and guidance, and that God's grace
protect those who are currently in harms way. Pray God grants our
soldiers strength so that they can carry out the mission they were
sent to perform.
As we celebrate so freely, please try to imagine there are millions
and millions of people throughout the world who yearn to have the
very freedoms we were so blessed to be born into. Never take your
freedoms for granted! They were bought and paid for in the blood
of many brave Americans. God Bless our troops.

Since both major parties are destroying America by allowing illegal
immigration/amnesty, I would vote for a 3rd party if a viable one
would develop. Until then I will hold my nose and vote for George
Bush as he will undermine us more slowly than Kerry.

It is My considered opinion that the DNC had Kerry choose Edwards
as a running mate because he is expendable! Bill and Hillary and
the usual gang don't want Edwards around in 2008. Think Mondale/Ferraro.
They want to keep the heavy hitters like Gephardt and his ilk available.
Edwards' Senate career was on the rocks anyway. Hillary may also
choose Gary Locke for a running mate. But they want to get Kerry
and Edwards truly washed-up and un-electable for anything. Duncan

I would be happy to back a Republican who would support minimal
government and maximum individual freedom. I vote with the Libertarian
Party because the Republican Party isn't "republican"
enough for me right now. Republicans talk about reducing government
spending, but never do. What is needed is an elimination of government
departments, regulations, inspections, and employees. Stop agricultural
subsidies. Stop import quotas, and higher tariffs. Stop funding
useless education programs. Eliminate the Department of Education.
Eliminate the Department of Agriculture. End funding of the IMF
and World Bank. Stop foreign subsidies. Remove troops from Germany
and Europe and other countries.
When
I was a Republican, the valid excuse was that the Democrats controlled
Congress and that Republicans couldn't reduce the size of government.
When Republicans controlled the Congress, all that happened is that
pork went to different people. No reductions in government. Why
should I waste my vote on George Bush or John Kerry? I'm voting
Libertarian for Michael Bednarik. He at least promises to do the
things I want done. Perhaps once he is in power, he will be corrupted
too. However, I know that Bush hasn't reduced the size of government,
and that Kerry never even promised to reduce government. Bednarik
may not be elected, but what is the point of voting for Bush just
because he may not be quite as horrible as Kerry?

The fact that Kerry got on stage and defended the Hollywood pundits
sick and vile remarks about our President by saying "They are
the heart and soul of America" sickened me. I live in Hollywood
and I have long known how crazy many of the Hollywood stars are
who have long ago lost touch with reality. But to have our Democratic
candidate for President align himself with these people and call
them the heart and soul of this great nation is rather scary.

Why anyone thinks that the Libertarian Party is conservative is
something I
cannot understand. They support abortion, homosexual unions, legalization
of
drugs and the right to burn the flag. These are not conservative
positions
and as a Christian conservative I could never support this party.

"An Islamic Conspiracy For World Conquest" is the first
and only book ever written by a non-American, Arab-Muslim scholar
that proves that Bush's decision to invade Iraq was not wrong after
all and that his 'crusade' against Islamic terror is totally justified.

Ron Reagan's appearance at the Democrat convention will most certainly
not embarrass Republicans. His persona personifies the Democrats.
He has been such an embarrassment to himself for so many years that
the Republicans have dismissed him for what he is: a dilettante
who can only make a name for himself by his outrageous repudiation
and degradation of all things that his father championed. He is
certainly not speaking for his father in championing stem cell research,
which President Ronald Reagan opposed. President Bush has given
a very measured, scientific response to the issue based on the best
and newest information from the scientific community.
The Democrats hope to capitalize on the appearance of Ron the Younger
but, believe me, this does not trump the appearance of Senator Zell
Miller (D) at the Republican convention as a man of real principles
-- not contrived for 15 minutes in the limelight.

An independent film maker by the name of Mike Wilson has created
a counter-film called Michael Moore Hates America. The official
website of the film is www.michaelmoorehatesamerica.com.
The film is also listed on the Internet Movie Database at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0411646/
We need to throw our support behind Mike Wilson and his film, and
help to publicize it as much as possible. We can show America that
the left-wing extremists are wrong and that this still is and will
always be a great nation. Together, with God's help, we can hold
America together.
Sincerely, Nicholas Gausling
